Description
This tool creates a rounded slot shape (like a peanut or elongated hole) based on three points and two radius values.
- Complex Geometry
- It draws a slot that is bent or angled, defined by two segments connected at a middle point, with rounded ends and filleted connections.
- Input
- Requires three points (Start, Middle/Bend, End), a radius for the slot ends, and a radius for the connecting fillet.
How to use
The bent, rounded slot is drawn along the defined center line.
- 1.Type rslot in the command line and press Enter.
- 2.Click the First Point (PT1) of the center line.
- 3.Click the Second Point (PT2) of the center line (vertex/bend point).
- 4.Click the Third Point (PT3) of the center line.
- 5.Enter the Slot End Radius (e.g., 10).
- 6.Enter the Fillet Radius (e.g., 20).
